“Just learning information is not enough. It’s necessary to dream.” -John Baldessari

A big thank you to our friends at Whitewall for this wonderful post on our Arts Matter campaign to support arts education in the LAUSD!

Have you seen the giant 10-foot tall Gibson guitar sculptures lining the Sunset Strip? Well, now is your opportunity to own one!

Bonhams will host a charity event beginning at 8 p.m. on February 22 to auction off all 18 sculptures from the Gibson GuitarTown on The Sunset Strip project created by internationally acclaimed and local artists including Shepard Fairey, John Kosh and RISK. The guitars celebrate musicians and artists who have influenced The Sunset Strip including The Doors, Buffalo Springfield, Stevie Nicks, and Van Halen among others.

What’s even more exciting is that all proceeds from the auction go towards supporting arts education in Los Angeles public schools through our Arts Matter campaign!  Click here for more info.
